Nicola has over 20 years clinical experience with voice, throat and swallowing disorders. Her main areas of interest are professional voice users, upper airway dysfunction following tracheal resection or associated with severe asthma. She runs joint voice and swallowing clinics with the ENT team and an upper airways clinic with the Respiratory team – which was the first of its kind in the UK. She is a member of the Regional Airways Management Interest (RAMI) group and an advisor for the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. She is currently researching quality of life in inducible laryngeal obstruction.
